FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY
Cough suppression may be accompanied by mild sedation which is dose related. If this is undesirable the dose rate should be reduced. Transient ataxia, anorexia and diarrhoea have been reported as occurring rarely.
Since Torbutrol can be effective in totally suppressing cough, it should not be used in conditions of the lower respiratory tract associated with copious mucus production.
If respiratory depression occurs, naloxone may be used as an antidote.
Not for use in cats.
Do not use in dogs with a history of liver disease.
